Disclaimer: Boulder Canyon Retreat Center, LLC (“BCRC”) is an educational, retreat, and harm reduction organization focused on supporting participants with personal and spiritual growth through its retreats. To the extent the retreats involve the use of entheogenic substances, all activities related to these substances are coordinated and carried out by the Church of the Mother Goddess(“Mother Goddess”). The Mother Goddess is a spiritual community whose leaders, members, and participants believe that their Sacraments are a divine teacher which connects participants to divine source. Given these spiritual beliefs, Mother Goddess’s ceremonial services are conducted under a good faith belief that they are protected religious practices secured by state and federal law, including but not limited to the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act, Colorado’s Natural Medicine Health Act and the religious freedom provisions of the Colorado Constitution. Participants acknowledge they have reviewed the doctrine of the Mother Goddess, separately provided, and are at least open to the possibility that the Mother Goddess’s spiritual path is resonant with their own. Neither the Mother Goddess nor BCRC are being compensated for any entheogenic substance. BCRC is only being compensated for retreat services and bona fide harm reduction services. Neither the Mother Goddess nor BCRC are providing any medical or mental health services in these retreats.
